¿ä¾à2 The purpose of this study was to analyze the aesthetic aspects of Korean aesthetics and to understand Korean beauty properly through semantic analysis. In order to have a proper view of Korean aesthetics, we analyzed the concept, history, and characteristics of Western and Korean aesthetics. Especially, the time range was comparatively analyzed based on the content of Korean beauty that has been discussed since the 1920s. The conclusion is as follows. First, when Western and Korean aesthetics are compared with the way of thinking and thought, Western viewpoints the universe as a spatial system of the number system and the temporal dynamics of the notion that the East including Korea is changed into the influence of epistemological thought is eternal. The West places more emphasis on reason than human emotion, and the Orient respects emotion. The emphasis of human reason was to analyze and interpret the development of aesthetics scientifically, and nature was also the object of analysis. Oriental aesthetics, on the other hand, considered humans and nature in equal positions and tried to assimilate or harmonize with nature. Second, as a result of comparison between the beauty and the aesthetics of Western and Korean, the aesthetics of the West starts from the problem of beauty, and when it is objective property, the aesthetic subject becomes the aesthetic subject of visual and auditory. On the other hand, when the subject is subjective, the pleasure felt by the object of the subject is an important issue because the subject expresses the pleasure felt by the subject as pleasure or displeasure of the subject perceiving the subject as beautiful by projecting the pleasure to the subject. Third, in the western aesthetic attitude, nature is a aesthetic object and takes a formality in the natural space. On the other hand, the aesthetic attitude of Korean aesthetics refers to the attitude toward nature, which is the subject of psychology that conforms to the natural order of nature. From the aesthetic attitude of indifference to nature to adapt to nature, the nature of mind is returned to the nature and the nature of the mind is brought into the nature of art, and nature, human being and art are united. Fourth, modern Korean aesthetics was analyzing the beauty attitude through individual art works. In other words, korean beauty could be divided into the morality of unbalance, the expressiveness of joke and humor, the beauty of spiritual beauty, and the natural beauty of natural conformity, and the natural respect and the cyclical world view played a major role.
