본 연구의 목적은 동대문구의 고시원 밀집지역의 가로경관 특성을 분석하고, 한계점을 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 통계청, 서울시 등이 제공하는 문헌고찰을 통해 동대문구의 지역특성을 파악하였다. 둘째, 주거밀집지역의 경관에 대한 선행연구 고찰과 고시원 현황 파악을 위한현장조사가 진행되었다. 셋째, 경관 구성요소는 선행연구를 토대로 건물높이, 진입부/창호위치, 외부마감재로 구분하였다. 끝으로, 지역적 특성을 고려하여 5개동을 대상지로 선정하여 경관 구성요소에 따른 가로 경관분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 가로폭에 따른 건축물 높이 분석을 했을때, 대학가 밀집지역, 고령층이 많은 밀집지역 모두 가로폭이 좁음에도 높은 건축물 높이를 보였다. 진입부와 창호위치에 따른 경관분석 결과, 지하층이 많은 대학가 밀집지역은 경관이 양호하지 못하고, 먹방이 많은 고시원 건물의 경우 진입로가 원활하지 않다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 입면에 따른 경관분석 결과, 대다수가 콘크리트 구조에 회색 마감재 및 조적조 등의 마감으로 도시경관에 영향을 끼치지 않는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 저층부에 상가가 있을 때 다양한 입면과 간판으로 인해 건물의 입면 통일감이 깨지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 밀집지역 간의 지역 특성에 따라 경관 특징이 다르다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. |

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the street landscape in the densely populated Gosiwon area of Dongdaemun-gu and to identify any limitations. To this end, first, the regional characteristics of Dongdaemun-gu were identified through a literature review provided by the National Statistical Office and the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Secondly, field surveys were conducted to review previous studies on the landscape of residential dense areas and to understand the current status of Gosiwon. Third, the landscape components were divided into building height, entry location, and external finishing materials, based on previous studies. Finally, the target sites of Dongdaemun-gu were selected based on regional characteristics, and a horizontal landscape analysis was conducted according to the landscape components. As a result, it was found that in both the densely populated university district and the area with a large number of elderly people, high building heights were observed in relation to the narrow width of the buildings. Based on the analysis of the landscape, it was determined that the densely populated university district with numerous underground floors did not have a pleasing landscape, and there were accessibility issues for the Gosiwon building, particularly in terms of the access road and food options. Following a landscape analysis based on elevations, it was determined that the concrete structures, mostly finished with grey materials, had minimal impact on the urban landscape. In addition, the presence of a shopping mall on the lower floor confirmed that the unity of the building’s elevation was disrupted by various elevations and signboards. It was confirmed that the landscape characteristics varied according to the regional differences between the dense areas. |
