¿ä¾à2 This study aims to explore strategies for restoring the authenticity of the landscape of Oksan Gugok (è¬ß£ÎúÍØ) in Gyeongju. By systematically examining historical documents such as Gugokga (Songs of the Nine Bends), Gugoksi (Poems of the Nine Bends), and Donghaenggi (Travel Records), as well as conducting interviews with descendants and experts and performing on-site investigations, the original scenery and locations of each bend were thoroughly verified. As a result, the original landscape elements and locations of each of the nine bends?from Songdan, the first bend, to Sajaam, the ninth?were identified. However, it was found that some bends had undergone alterations or damage due to river maintenance and development, limiting the ability to fully verify their original locations. In particular, the seventh bend remains uncertain due to discrepancies between textual interpretations and the current state of the site. This study provides foundational data for restoring the landscape authenticity of Oksan Gugok and emphasizes the importance of an integrated methodology? combining documentary research, interviews, and field surveys?in the restoration of traditional landscapes and the preservation of cultural heritage.
