본 연구는 경주 옥산구곡(玉山九曲) 경관의 진정성 회복 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 옥산구곡의 원풍경과 각 곡의 위치를 구곡가(九曲歌), 구곡시(九曲詩), 동행기(同行記)등의 고문헌, 후손 및 전문가와의 인터뷰, 현장조사 등을 종합적으로 활용하여 체계적으로 고증하고 각 곡이지니는 고유의 경관적 특징을 도출하였다. 그 결과 1곡 송단부터 9곡 사자암에 이르기까지 각 곡의 원형 경관 요소와 위치를 비정하였으며, 일부 곡은 하천 정비와 개발로 인해 원형이 훼손되어위치 고증에 한계가 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 7곡은 문헌 해석 내용과 현황이 달라 위치비정이확실하지 않다. 본 연구는 옥산구곡의 경관 진정성 회복을 위한 기초자료를 제공함과 동시에, 전통경관 복원 및 문화유산 보존에 있어 문헌조사, 인터뷰, 현장조사를 아우르는 통합적 방법론의중요성을 제시하고자 하였다. |

This study aims to explore strategies for restoring the authenticity of the landscape of Oksan Gugok (玉山九曲) in Gyeongju. By systematically examining historical documents such as Gugokga (Songs of the Nine Bends), Gugoksi (Poems of the Nine Bends), and Donghaenggi (Travel Records), as well as conducting interviews with descendants and experts and performing on-site investigations, the original scenery and locations of each bend were thoroughly verified. As a result, the original landscape elements and locations of each of the nine bends?from Songdan, the first bend, to Sajaam, the ninth?were identified. However, it was found that some bends had undergone alterations or damage due to river maintenance and development, limiting the ability to fully verify their original locations. In particular, the seventh bend remains uncertain due to discrepancies between textual interpretations and the current state of the site. This study provides foundational data for restoring the landscape authenticity of Oksan Gugok and emphasizes the importance of an integrated methodology? combining documentary research, interviews, and field surveys?in the restoration of traditional landscapes and the preservation of cultural heritage. |
