건축물은 역사의 흔적이며, 역사의 산물이다. 우리가 건축을 공부하기 위해 건축역사를 공부하는 것은 역설적이기는 하나 건축물의 역사가 바로 건축 그 자체이기 때문이요 현재의 건축은 과거 건축역사의 산물이기 때문이다. 그러기에 만약이라는 방정식의 변수에 바로크와 미래파들을 대입해본 것이다. 이 방정식을 풀어보면 건축의 디지털리즘에 대한 해답도 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 그 시대의 미래인 현재는 다시 미래의 과거일 것이기 때문이다. 하지만 이러한 운동성이 표현되기 위해서는 과학기술의 발달과 수학적 발전이 우선된다는 것을 시대의 배경을 분석함으로써 공통적으로 발견할 수 있다. 그리고 역사적으로 서로 다른 시대에 나타나는 운동성의 표현은 문명의 발달과 과학기술의 발전에 의해 자연적으로 수반되는 것이고, 그 결과가 어떻게 건축공간으로 발전할 수 있는지 여부를 판단할 수 있는 근거를 찾고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. |

The purpose of this study is to show the implications of the power, force and motion which are realized in Baroque, Futurism, and current Digitalism architecture. To do this, I first observe its theoretical background and then analyze the works of Baroque, futurism and Digitalism architects, all of whom are called the typical radical architects.In particular, this study tries to show that the digital architects are introducing the non-Euclidean multi-dimensions and the cyberspace and applying the notions of power, motion, animation and morphogenesis into their works. Finally, I conclude that the motion of the digitalism anticipates the direction of the future architecture, in which the virtual world is merged with the real world, the digital space is realized in the real space, and the human is completely harmonized with nature. |
