It has raised lots of issues of Green Belt since it had introduced to Korea. The primary goal of this study is making the essential Import of conurbation clear and pointing out illogical matter of that policy. It is ascertained in detail historical evidence in reference to the appearance of the conurbation in the literature. It could be followed up original meaning as a prevention of dis orderly urban sprawl and preservation of natural environment. It should be considered a preparations like new town costruction - in order to make Green Belt to work as a way of stopping conurbation. The secure of conurbation of open space, also, as a basic cause could strengthen the justification of prevention of conurbation.
But, Korea's Green Belt policy have ignored these essential theory and have continued stubborn 'Belt' policy. Motto of 21 century's world policy is environment. Therefore, Green Belt policy have to orient to essential theory of conurbation and approach for preservation of environment. |
