이 지역에 내재되어 있는 다음과 같은 의문점을 규명함으로써 인천시 도시공간구조의 방향을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.
1) 도시전체의 분산, 집중정도의 변화는 어떠한가? 중심들이 다핵적주 또는 다중심적 특징을 갖는가?
2) 시기의 변화에 따른 중심지들의 위치와 특징은 어떻게 변화하는가?
3) 각 중심지들의 영향력은 어떻게 변화하는가?
이를 파악하기 위해서 여러 척도들이 존재하지만 중심지들을 도시의 주체들의 활동 중심이라고 정의하고 통행 자료를 사용한다. 또 중심지들의 상호 연관성을 고려할 수 있는 영향력지표를 사용하여 중심지를 선별하고 각 목적별 지표를 통행 특징을 파악하도록 한다. |

This study empirically analyzes the characteristics of Incheon's multicentralization process , on the assumption that the process was driven by the change of the urban activities. This study identifies activity centers and characterizes them using the attraction indices of passage and influence. The results show that spatial structure of Incheon is more concentrated in 2002 than in 1996, that the activities of centers are differentiated that functions and the influences of the existing C.B.D are decreasing, while the functions and the influences of subcenters are strengthened, and lastly that influences of the centers in Incheon are growing more rapidly than in nest area. |
