본 연구는 초등학교에서의 방범환경 평가를 목적으로 진행되었는데, 범죄예방 환경설계의 관점에서 현장조사를 위한 체크리스트를 만들어 대상 학교들을 평가하였다. 연구결과 관리적 측면에서 범죄예방 관련교육 및 각종 사건사고 기록관리, 외부인 출입통제가 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 물리적 측면에서는 학교 경계부의 경우 출입문과 담장을 중심으로 출입통제가 미흡하고 방범용 CCTV와 조명이 부족한 학교들이 있는데, 지방중소도시에서 이러한 사례가 많이 나타났다. 학교내 외부공간의 경우 가장 개선이 필요한 것은 조명과 긴급상황시 사용가능한 비상벨 또는 응급전화의 설치였으며, 특히 건물 구조상 형성되는 사각지대는 접근차단을 위한 시설이나 직접 감시가 가능한 CCTV 설치가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 학교건물 내부공간의 경우 각 출입문과 창문의 자연감시 기능이 미흡하고 출입문에 부착되는 시건장치도 강화될 필요가 있는 반면, 이용이 없는 옥상 및 지하공간에 대해서는 관리가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. |

The purpose of this study was to suggest the evaluation of anti-crime condition in elementary school for crime prevention. In order to that, the categorized checklist was used for evaluation focused on the CPTED. Followings are the results : 1) In the management aspect, crime prevention training, crime-related records’ management of various kinds, and visitors’ control were very insufficient for safe of schools. 2) In the architectural planning aspect, the boundary of school without an guardroom, CCTV and proper lightings was caused by increasing the fear of crime or possibility of crime. And lightings, alarms, emergency calls and CCTV for crime prevention were insufficient on the outdoor spaces. In the indoor spaces, it was necessary for natural surveillance on the doors and windows of each rooms but most of schools were inadequate for crime prevention. In case of the basement and roof spaces, all the schools were well managed those spaces. |
