¿ä¾à2 This paper presents the flexural behavior of steel beams that were strengthened AFRP plates. The test parameters were the width of AFRP plates. To prevent the debonding between AFRP plate and steel plates, for AFRP strengthened steel beams with partial width AFRP plates, the AFRP sheets wrapped around the tension flange at the end part of the steel beams. From the test results, the AFRP plates were ruptured or debonded at mid-span in steel beams. Finally, failure behavior, load capacity, and initial stiffness were compared between un-strengthened steel beams and strengthened beams
