In this research, we developed a system which automatically generates 3D point cloud and mesh model from panorama photos of a low-cost 360 degree camera. Also a web application which enables 3D virtual tour using tracked relative camera poses is developed. In addition, in the web application it is possible to realistically arrange 3D virtual objects on a panorama photo and measure dimensions between structures. From the results of this research, stakeholders in a construction can communicate each other efficiently and archive the construction processes through 360 degree VR models providing more immersive scenes than still photos that we've used. |
