본 연구는 강력범죄 발생지역에서 범죄문제의 심각성과 이웃관계, 지역에 대한 인식 등을 분석하고 안전마을 조성방향을 모색하기 위해 진행되었다. 분석결과 지역의 범죄발생률은 높지 않은 수준임에도 불구하고 범죄불안감은 높은 수준으로 나타났는데, 이는 환경적 요인과 함께 살인사건 이후 지역에 만연된 부정적 인식이 종합되어 영향을 준 것으로 추론된다. 또한 지역 애착심이 낮은 집단일수록 강력범죄(살인 등) 및 사회적 일탈행위(취객소란 등)와 같이 우발적 요인에 의해 발생 가능성이 높은 범죄를 심각하게 인식하는 반면, 지역 애착심이 높은 집단일수록 침입절도와 같이 환경적 요인에 의한 발생 가능성이 높은 범죄를 심각하게 인식하는 경향이 있었다. 실제로 공동체에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과 지역 애착심이 높은 집단은 이웃관계 및 지역 활동에 적극적이며, 이웃교류 및 모임도 지역 내 공용공간에서 다양하게 진행되고 있었다. 다만, 두 집단 모두 이웃관계 개선 및 지역활동 촉진의 과제로 공동모임 공간 조성과 주민갈등 해소를 위한 쓰레기 및 주차문제 해결을 선택하고 있어 지역 내 유휴공간 활용이 시급함을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 내용을 종합하면 범죄안전을 위해서는 부정적 인식 개선을 위한 지역자원의 생활공간(주요동선) 연계를 통한 활용성 제고 및 홍보 강화, 그리고 많은 주민이 참여하는 공동체 프로그램 도입이 필요함을 알 수 있다. |

The purpose of this study is to consider measures for the safe village through analysis of perception of community, neighborhood relationship, and crime in a local area of violent crime. In this study, it was founded that the rate of crime were higher than the fear of crime which was inferred as environmental measures consisted of crime induced and negative perceptions by the case of murder in 2012. The lower level of attachment of neighborhood, the more serious perception of crimes that were likely to be caused by accidential causes, such as violent crime(murder, etc.) and social incivility(drunken disturbance, etc.). On the contrary, the high level of attachment of neighborhood, the more serious perception of crimes that were likely to be caused by environmental causes such as burglary. As a result of the analysis of the perception of community, highly attached groups were active in their neighborhood relationships and local activities, and interactions among neighborhood and meetings were also proceeding in diverse public spaces. However, the two groups wanted to solve the problem such as lack of common meeting and waste disposal space, and parking lots in order to activate community, so it seemed that the use of idle space in the region was urgent. In conclusion it was necessary to utilize local resources and inform for improvement of negative regional perception and introduce citizen-participated community program. |
