¿ä¾à2 Concrete filled steel tubes are widely used as columns in many structural systems and suffer local buckling problems by yielding the steel and reducing the confining effect. To overcome these drawbacks, we propose a method to delay local buckling by reinforcing steel with FRP. This paper focuses on the compression performance of the FRP reinforced CFT under cyclic compression. Two types of FRP(Aramid FRP, SRF Polyester Belt) are reinforced, analyzed and discussed outside the CFT with a variety of reinforcement thicknesses and reinforcement layers. In addition, we will evaluate the experimental values of the test body based on the proposed formula used in CFRP and determine whether it can be used.
