The spread of COVID-19 has made a lot of changes in our society, and it is still having a lot of influence. In particular, the direct face-to-face/contact-oriented urban regeneration policy was greatly influenced. In this study, a survey of urban regeneration support centers nationwide was conducted to investigate the difficulties of urban regeneration sites. In addition, the improvement of a field-based urban regeneration policy was proposed to overcome this. The details are as follows: First, it is necessary to make a breakthrough transformation and support for residents' face-to-face and participation projects. Second, disaster response project guidelines reflecting urban regeneration characteristics should be established and shared. Third, it is necessary to establish a non-face-to- face and online program equipment and manpower sharing system. Fourth, it is necessary to reconsider the method of evaluating urban regeneration project performance centered on the budget execution rate. The results of the study are meaningful in that they proposed field-friendly alternatives to ensure sustainability of urban regeneration policies even in the post COVID-19 era. |
