In this study, the anti-corrosion performance of steel immersed in synthetic concrete pore solution according to amount of L-arginine added was evaluated using electrochemical method. OCP and polarization resistance was measured according to the solution immersion time. Then, the corrosion rate was calculated using the electrochemical measurement results, and compared according to the experimental level. As a result of the experiment, as the amount of L-arginine added increased, the polarization resistance of the steel increased. In addition, it was confirmed that when 1.2M L-arginine was added, the ohmnic resistance also increased. And the corrosion rate was reduced to 8% of the specimen without L-arginine. It it belived the L-arginine protects steel from corrosion, and that the anti-corrosion performance increased as the amount of L-arginine added increased. As a result of comparison with other inhibitor, it was confirmed that the anti-corrosion performance was lower than calcium nitrite. But when more than 0.6M was added, the anti-corrosion performance was higher than DMEA. |
